I’m back from my New York trip and had a wonderful time! It nice getting way from my responsibilities in LA and see some old friends. I stayed with a good friend of mine from high school Emilie and my boyfriend’s sister Natasha. Emilie is working on her second Masters at Columbia and lives in a cute apartment in Soho. Natasha works for an interesting company where her title is “writer/investigator”. Her job is basically like the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. She has an apartment in the desirable Brooklyn neighborhood of Park Slope.

I wanted to thank both of them for showing me around and being great hosts. Above are the watercolors that I came up with to fit both of their personalities. I put them on the front of the cards that I’m mailing to them.
